Terms of service
Terms of service
A MODERN DISCOVERY STORE | NEW. PRE-OWNED. UNEXPECTED. ALWAYS CHANGING.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
These terms explain the basis on which you can shop with A2B through ShopWithA2B.com. We've kept them as clear as possible so you know who you're buying from, how orders work and what you can expect from us.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Using ShopWithA2B.com
By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and the policies that apply to your purchase.
Please make sure the information you give us when ordering is accurate and complete. You should have the legal capacity to enter into a contract and use a payment method you are authorised to use.
A2B does not currently offer age-restricted goods as part of its launch range.
Our Products
A2B sells a changing mix of new, pre-owned, vintage and sometimes one-of-a-kind products.
We take care to describe products accurately and to provide useful photographs, condition information and relevant imperfections where known. Please review the product page carefully before ordering.
For pre-owned or vintage products, reasonable signs of age or previous use may form part of the item's condition. A characteristic or imperfection that was clearly disclosed before purchase does not, by itself, mean the product is faulty or not as described.
Colours and appearance can vary slightly between screens. This does not affect your rights where a product is materially different from its description or otherwise fails to meet legal requirements.
Prices
The price shown on the product page at the time you place your order is the price that applies, subject to correction of an obvious pricing error.
Any applicable delivery charge will be shown before you complete your purchase.
If we discover an obvious pricing or listing error after an order is placed, we may contact you before accepting the order. We will not require you to buy the item at a corrected price without your agreement. If we cannot accept the order, any payment already taken will be refunded.
Placing an Order
When you place an order, you are offering to buy the item or items in your basket.
An automated order acknowledgement confirms that we have received your order. It does not necessarily mean that we have accepted it.
Your order is accepted when we confirm acceptance or dispatch the goods. If we cannot accept an order, we will let you know and refund any payment already taken for the affected item or order.
Before placing your order, please check your basket, delivery information and other details carefully.
When We May Be Unable to Accept an Order
A2B's inventory changes quickly and many items are individual pieces. Very occasionally, an item may become unavailable after an order has been placed - for example because of a stock-sync error, an inventory mistake, or because final handling identifies a problem that means we no longer consider the item suitable to send.
We may also be unable to accept an order because of a payment, security, fraud-prevention, delivery or obvious pricing issue.
If this happens, we will explain where appropriate and refund any amount already paid for the item or order we cannot fulfil. We will not automatically substitute a different product.
Payment
You can pay using the payment methods made available at checkout.
Payment must be successfully authorised. We may carry out reasonable payment, fraud-prevention or security checks before accepting or dispatching an order.
Any optional additional charge must be clearly presented and agreed before you are charged for it.
Delivery
Our current standard UK delivery terms are set out in our Delivery & Shipping Policy.
Standard tracked UK delivery is £4.99 on orders under £30 and FREE on orders of £30 or more. Some oversized, bulky or heavy items may carry a different or additional delivery charge, which will be shown before purchase.
We aim to dispatch orders within 2 working days. Working days are Monday to Friday excluding UK bank and public holidays.
Delivery estimates are estimates unless we have expressly agreed a specific delivery date with you. Please see our Delivery & Shipping Policy for tracking, delivery problems and further information.
Cancelling Before Dispatch
If you want to cancel an order before it has been dispatched, contact us as soon as possible.
We will try to stop the order where we reasonably can. If it has already been dispatched, please use the cancellation and return process in our Returns & Refunds Policy.
This does not affect your statutory cancellation rights.
Changing Your Mind & Returns
For most online purchases, you normally have 14 days from receiving your order to tell us that you wish to cancel, followed by a further 14 days to return the item.
For ordinary change-of-mind returns, you are responsible for arranging and paying for return postage. Certain legal exceptions can apply, including to some sealed goods supplied for health protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed.
Please read our Returns & Refunds Policy for the full process, exclusions, refund information and return instructions.
Faulty, Damaged or Not as Described
Your goods must meet the standards required by UK consumer law, including being as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose where applicable.
If something is faulty, arrives damaged or is materially different from its description, please contact us. Your statutory remedies are separate from our ordinary change-of-mind process.
Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts rights that the law says cannot be excluded or restricted.
Refunds
Refunds are handled in accordance with our Returns & Refunds Policy and applicable consumer law.
Where a refund is due, it will normally be made to the original payment method unless another method is expressly agreed with you.
A2B does not charge an automatic restocking fee. Where permitted by law, an appropriate deduction may be made if handling beyond what is reasonably necessary has reduced the value of a returned item.
No Standard Exchange Service
We do not operate a standard exchange service because much of A2B's inventory is changing, individual or one of a kind.
If you change your mind and want another item, you can return the original purchase in accordance with our Returns & Refunds Policy and place a new order.
This does not affect any repair, replacement or other statutory remedy available for faulty or incorrectly described goods.
Website Availability & Information
We work to keep ShopWithA2B.com accurate and available, but we cannot promise that the website will always operate without interruption or that every technical error will be prevented.
We may update, correct or improve website content where needed. Any such change will not remove rights you already have under an accepted order or applicable consumer law.
Our Responsibility to You
We do not exclude or limit responsibility where it would be unlawful to do so, including responsibility for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or your statutory rights relating to goods.
We are responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill.
A2B supplies products to consumers for private use. If you use a product for commercial, business or resale purposes, different legal considerations may apply.
Personal Information
We use personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection law.
Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we use it, how long we keep it, who it may be shared with and the rights available to you.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time, for example to reflect changes to our website, operations or the law.
The terms applying to an order are the terms in force when that order is placed. Changes made later will not retrospectively remove rights under an existing contract.
If Part of These Terms Cannot Be Enforced
If a court or other competent authority decides that part of these terms cannot be enforced, the remaining terms will continue to apply so far as the law allows.
Governing Law & Your Rights
These terms are intended for customers purchasing from A2B in the UK.
Nothing in them removes any mandatory consumer protection available to you under the law that applies where you live.
Any dispute will be dealt with by the courts that have jurisdiction under applicable UK law. Nothing in this section limits any right you have as a consumer to bring proceedings in the appropriate part of the UK.
