Genesis Collectors’ Edition 3 Picture Disc CD Box Set TPAK 17 1991
TRUTH AT A GLANCE

THE DETAILS
A rather special Genesis release from 1991, bringing two landmark Peter Gabriel-era albums together as three limited-edition picture CDs.
Issued by Virgin Records as the Genesis Collectors’ Edition, this TPAK 17 box contains Selling England by the Pound alongside both parts of The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway, with each disc carrying artwork created specifically for the presentation.
The first picture disc reproduces the distinctive Selling England by the Pound imagery, while The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway is divided across two separately designed discs. Together they sit in their original jewel cases inside the matching collector’s presentation box.
This isn’t a modern reissue: the set dates to 1991, with catalogue number TPAK 17 and barcode 5012981170028.
The set is particularly appealing in this form because the original outer box, all three discs, jewel cases and artwork remain together.
The picture discs appear exceptionally well preserved with only very light signs of handling. The outer presentation box has some age and storage wear, including spotting/discolouration and edge wear, as shown in the photographs.
A lovely survivor from the early CD collecting era and an unusual way of owning two of the defining albums from Genesis’ 1970s catalogue.
