Gucci GG Embossed Leather Card Case

A compact piece of Gucci small leather goods, finished in embossed GG leather with the house’s unmistakable green and red web tab at the side.

Research into the internal model marking identifies this as the leather case component from Gucci model 115268, a design originally paired with a separate removable money clip. Surviving examples describe 115268 as a Gucci card case and money-clip design made in Italy. 

This example is being offered as the leather card case only; the original removable money clip is not present.

The exterior carries the repeating embossed GG pattern across both sides, with a curved open top and stitched perimeter. Its compact proportions make it suitable for carrying a small number of cards, while the green-red-green web tab provides the contrasting Gucci signature.

This is a well-used piece rather than a pristine collector example. The leather has developed creasing, rubbing and surface wear through use, particularly around the edges and lower section. We’ve photographed that wear closely so its condition can be properly assessed.
