Chehoma Belgium Grey Teddy Bear with Chunky Cable Knit Jumper – Decorative Plush

This one looks as though somebody dressed a teddy bear specifically for a very good interiors shop — which isn’t far from the truth.

Made for Belgian interiors brand Chehoma, this decorative bear combines a dark grey marl-effect textile body with an oversized cream cable-knit jumper.

Chehoma has been creating and selecting furniture and decorative objects since 1987, describing its approach as the art of creating distinctive interiors. This bear fits rather neatly into that world: less conventional children’s plush, more characterful decorative object. 

The chunky knitted jumper is the standout detail, with substantial cable work, a high rolled neckline and deliberately oversized proportions. Against the textured charcoal-grey body it gives the bear a particularly cosy, tactile appearance.

The original sewn labels remain attached, including CHEHOMA BELGIUM branding. The composition label identifies the outer and filling as polyester.

Presented in very good pre-owned condition with only light evidence of storage and handling.

An unusual Chehoma piece that works just as well among books, textiles and interiors objects as it does in a teddy-bear collection.
